« Religious tradition and the future of humanities are in the same boat. We cannot intensify religious education without strengthening general education. » The manuals of the 'Chemins de la foi' have risen to the double challenge of the Debray report: to allow young people of school age to discover and deepen their intelligence of the Christian mystery, and to illustrate it abundantly through art, prayer, Biblical culture, history and literature. This is catechistic teaching that develops in an organic way the art of Christian life, as John-Paul II encouraged the Church of France to do five years ago. The book, designed by teachers and pedagogists, offers an itinerary through the lives of the saints. It will prove a useful, efficient and attractive tool for testimony and transmission of faith.
